Wealthy Women to Note
Many of the wealthiest women in America are connected to their family business. Sam Walton’s wife, Helen and their daughter, Alice have a reputed net worth of $ 18 billion each and are certainly among the richest women in the world. Abigail Johnson who is a daughter of the founder of Fidelity Investments now helps to run that company with her father, Edward Johnson Ann Cox Chambers, a daughter of James M. Cox, a newspaper publisher followed in her father’s footsteps and became a billionaire media proprietor. Her sister, Barbara Cox Anthony now owns and controls the portion of their father’s business empire which is now known as Cox Enterprises.
I love Mars candy bars. And I can thank Frank C. Mars for founding that wonderful American company. His granddaughter, Jacqueline Mars can be counted among the wealthy women of the world. As can Susanne Ursula Klatten of Germany and Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler who grew up in Vienna.
